At DRPhotos, my senior sessions are all about capturing your personality, confidence, and quirks in a way that feels totally natural (no stiff poses or forced smiles allowed ✨).

What to Expect at Your Senior Session?

Think of your session as more of a hangout with a camera than a traditional photoshoot. I’ll guide you through flattering poses, fun prompts, and candid moments that bring out your true personality.
You’ll laugh, you’ll move, and we’ll probably jam out to your favorite playlist.

Before your session, I’ll help you:

Choose your locations that match your vibe (beach, city, forest, school field, or even your favorite coffee spot).
Plan your wardrobe, so each outfit tells a piece of your story.
Feel confident, even if you’ve never had professional photos before.

Why Planning Outfits + Themes Ahead of Time Matters

Your outfit choices set the tone of your photos.
Want a dreamy, soft, coastal vibe? Flowy dresses or linen tones work perfectly.
Want bold and editorial? Bring on the contrast, color, and edge.

Planning ahead lets us create intentional images that feel cohesive and you.
Here’s why it’s important:

✨ You won’t feel rushed or overwhelmed

With a concrete plan of where we want to go. Your personal vibe clearly communicated, and outfits planned out you will be fully prepared without the rushing around.

✨ Each Outfit can Match a location OR Mood

I like to tell my clients that sunsets are more formal wear. Long flowy dress and sunsets just hit differently. For direct light I would wear something cute and casual for walking into a coffee shop or walking around Market Commons.
